N-Y (opponents 11-1) and Meigs (opponents 8-4) in the Ohio had the toughest schedules in non league games overall per caliber of competition compared to the rest and both have young teams. Paint Valley who beat Wellston for instance is 4-0 but their opponents records are 2-14. ST. Clairsville who beat Meigs and Martins Ferry who beat N-Y are perennially playoff teams.

2002 Wellston won the TVC and finished 8-2 overall but missed the playoffs. They finished 9th in their region. Belpre also finished 8-2 overall but finished 13th in their region. The 4 other TVC Ohio teams that season were .500 or less.

So weird to think Belpre and Fed Hock were in the same region as Canal Winchester back in 02.

There is also a correlation to Meigs losing and the staff. Their head coach "fired is long time assistants because Coach Wilford wanted to be a head coach. As we know, Wilford went to Southern (and a couple coaches went with him). Southern is 4-0 and Meigs is 1-3. Does Meigs have a a tough none league schedule? Yes. But Bartrum wanted it that way. And not many older kids playing for a reason!

Is there a league in the area that hasn't a representative in the playoffs lately?

This year, the TVC is the worst league in southeastern Ohio, maybe the state! Bad Football!

Athens better hope they either lose another game or don't make the playoffs @ 9-1. If they make it in it will be the biggest blowout in all divisions in the 1st round unless the other team calls off the Dogs early. Just my prediction.

Nope if Athens gets in they play Bellbrook or Granville who are just decent. Jackson is more than likely lined up with Bishop Hartley or Eastmoor. That could will be a massacre. Those two are loaded
