NY needs a week 2 home game in 2018 to have 5 home and 5 away games. On the OHSAA website, the two closest schools looking for a week 2 game are Zanesville Rosecrans and Fairland. However, both of those schools are saying they also want a home game in 2018.

It's quite a drive, but one of the elites......Maria Stein Marion Local is looking for a week 2 game in 2018 and 2019 and is open on which is home and which is away.

All other schools looking on the OHSAA website are too large and too far away (except for Reigning Sports Thunder Academy in Columbus, but they are a club sport).

There's no need to drive that for what Marion Local would do. Might have to take on a higher division but there's got to be better options than ML.

Well, let's toss out the NY anomaly of 2017 and look in the mirror from say 2013-2016 for NY. What those four seasons you were 19-21? So before launching into some sarcasm may want to realize you were below a .500 program as well. Nice job in 2017 though, hats off. IDK just a hunch I get the sense Week 1 may be different in 2018, next fall could be the year to get them before the series ends for awhile. As I said earlier could be the year we get to 7-3 or better.

competitive TVC and great for ALL the teams ......august-oct results are from the efforts from jan-july......the question is not what these teams do come fall 2018 but what they are doing now in the winter of 2018 to be successful......off-season is where the teams shine

Hey go back 16 or 17 years and look at Wellston record.....
Every year folks talk like this is the team and then the Rockets end up around 5-5.

The Jackson-Wellston series is NOT ending anytime soon. Way too much money is made from this game. Neither school can justify walking away from it.
