I'm thinking 8 or 9 and 5 or 6 played both ways

Rock Hill returns Zak Adkins and Logan Hankins at Half Backs: each has had a season as a 1000 yard rusher, Hankins hit the mark as a freshman with 1014 yards and 10 TD's and last season as a sophomore Adkins ran for 1117 yards and 11 TD's. Hankins was injured in the 1st game of the season with a back injury and did return until late in the season. Also back is QB Brayden Friend who will be a sophomore. Friend ran for 183 yards on 33 attempts with 3 TD's; He passed for 286 yards on 15 of 33 completions with 3 TD's and 2 interceptions The Redmen will have to replace Senior FB/LB Cameron Barnette who rushed for 909 yards and 16 TD's and was the heart and soul of the defense. Look for JJ Hackworth and newcomer Gabe Skaggs to compete for time at FB, along with Jake Bevins in that discussion. Cameron Donahue returns for his senior season and will be a big part of the Redmen's Line play and on defense. Rock Hill also returns soccer player Brady Floyd who handled Extra points and field goals, he was 1 for 2 on field goals and was 27 for 32 on extra points.

Rock Hill Returns Cameron Donahue, TJ McGinnis, Tristen Delong, Ethan McClasky and Tucker Carpentar to the line. Besides Barnette RH also Loses 2 way starter Eli Matney who will be missed. RH also loses Seniors Corey Shope (a starter at safety) and 2 way starter Jaret Bacorn TE-DE. RH also loses Andrew Cochran TE-DE and his brother Tyler Cochran RB-DB and starter Kyle Stanfield G-FB-LB. The Redmen will lose 7 total seniors from last years team.

Returning as seniors for the 2018 season will be Zach Dempsey RB-DB, Quinn Depriest TE-RB-CB, David GrantRB-LB, Tyler Keeton RB-CB, Jake Bevins E-FB-DE and Cameron Donahue G-DE.

Juniors to be: Brady Floyd-K, Logan Hankins RB-DB, Zak Adkins RB-DB, JJ Hackworth RB-LB, Tucker Carpentar E-DE, Ethan McClaskey C-NG, TJ Mcginnis T-LB, Adam Rhodes G-LB, Tristan Delong T-DT, Kris Dong T-DT, Zach Clark G-DT, TJ French T-DT

Returning Freshman: Brayden Friend QB-S, Hunter Massie QB-S, Hayden Harper FB-LB, Seth Schob G-LB, Mikey Pemberton G-NG, David Bailey T-DT, Jacob Schwab G-DE, James Knipp TE-DE and Andrew Clark TE-S

Mark Lutz returns for his second year as head coach, he went 4-6 last season with wins vs. Northwest, South Point, Gallia Academy and Chesapeake. Returning assistant coaches:Lou Maines, Craig Harvey, Brian Kidd, Jarrod Keeton, Joe Sark, Tyler Kratzenberg, Jason Kidd, Joe Bowman, Andy Coalgrove and I believe a couple more are coming on board this season....

I think Rock Hill is on the rise. Saw a difference between Lutz and Knipps' coaching from seasons past. I think Rock Hill has the potential to be 6-4 to 8-2 this year. Last year they lost 4 of their first 6 games, all by 7 or less points.
