Re: Week 1- Belpre 21 @ Fort Frye 42 Final
I feel like this series is the same every year. Belpre plays tough in the first half and fades in the 2nd. Even the year they won they blew a lead in the second half. Fort knew if Reams got outside the hashes it would be dangerous and he burnt them on the long run. It was an option that Simonette worked to perfection. Any time the Golden Eagles tried to run up the middle they failed. They did have success through the air and converted 2 4th downs for Tds. They actually lead 21-20. Cadets offensive line just dominated this game. Fort did what they wanted only getting stopped 3 times (1 punt, 1 4th n goal stop, and 1 fumble. Tyler "Bruiser" Bradford and Evan "Dozer" Schob controlled the rock and pounded it all night for big tough yards. Both had a TD and were very good. Tate didn't throw many passes but he didn't have to. He did have a nice long TD towards the end. He also had a nice QB sneak for a TV. Player of the game was sophomore Tyler Fisher. He had 3 Tds in his first start and I'm not sure what his stats were but I'm guessing in the 150-200 range for total yards. All in all the Cadets were rusty but the fact that this was Bradfords and Engles vs action vs another team you have to take the effort.
Go Cadets
23 in a row reg season wins.

Yea it helps that Fort Frye starts 4 Srs and a returning Sophmore on the line. People thought that this year the Cadets would be down which is true but it's hard to follow a regional final appearance. That being said one of the bigger concerns was answered tonight and that's skills guys. The 3 headed monster of Bruising Bradford "SR", Dozer Schob "JR", and Sophmore Tyler "Ice" Fisher showed that they can make plays. I look for them to open up the passing game as the season goes on. Look for Huck,McCleod, and Brady Schilling to start to catch some passes.

Belpre needs to hope that will be one of the better o lines they see this season. Eagles moved the ball well. Defiantly left some points out there .

I think it was 36-21. I believe Belpre gets stopped at the fort fry 1 yard line. score there and kick the pat . BOOM one score game. cadets must of had 400 yards rushing

Reams first carry was 71 yards and his next 8 carries went for 5. I think Fort Frye had a nice game plan on him.
