Fort Frye Scores 5 Southern 2
Fort Frye dominated the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball. In down and distance they scored both times in a total of 7 plays. Very balanced attack passing and running. Southern went -2 yards on 7 plays in the down and distance. Southern did score 2 times on broken passes which in both instances Fort had a back DB in. Southerns spread is unique and they’ll win some games.

Heard Belpre did well vs Caldwell and Williamstown no other info.
Re: 2018 PVC Football Offseason Talk and Outlook
Belpre ran between the tackles straight down the field.

From what I've heard, read, and gathered, everyone on the schedule and into the playoffs are going to have a hard time doing things against FF!EasternDspy wrote: ↑Mon Aug 13, 2018 11:44 amI think Belpre will struggle to run on Fort Frye.

I would agree with that. I was expecting more based on what I have heard, doesn't mean they won't produce, just overrated from what I saw last night and I watched their O line on every play against us.

1. Fort Frye
2. Shenandoah/Caldwell
4. MC
5. Frontier
I think MC and Frontier are in for a long year.

Re: 2018 PVC Football Offseason Talk and Outlook
vs Bellaire, it was 2-3 and we dropped a wide open TD late. Bellaire doesn't seem to be able to move the ball much through the air so they will rely on the ground game. Their D wasn't bad except their secondary was shaky. We threw the ball well against them and was ok on the ground, not good, ok. Our D is very young and will give up points this season for sure, especially against the run.
vs BT, it was 0-14..two big pass plays by BT where we looked clueless, one had a freshman/sophomore on same side, first varsity experience for both. BT made us look silly on offense. Their D line dominated us up front and we couldn't get a play off. We are young w/ 3 sophomores up front so there will be some growing pains. For some reason we were also trying to throw the ball 30 yards downfield so that didn't help the situation.
vs Shen, it was 7-13 with Shen scoring on the last play of the Qtr (wouldn't have had an extra play if clock operator was paying attention). That being said, alot of reserves were playing against the Zeps. We are young anyway so some of those reserves will probably see plenty of time throughout the season. I think Zeps O moved the ball ok and their D was ok. With those big bodies up front I was expecting a little more from them. We had many backups on O too and dropped some wide open passes.
