The kids have moved on and are very excited about this season. I just think it adds drama. Fans are more angry than the players.

Smith and Clutters have a void to fill for the Oaks, with the Loss of Fisher at running back. The question is, can they step up and fill that void?

I’d love to see the TVC send an invite to oak hill.

Not sure OH would like that but who knows. Travel a bit better in SOC and rivalries pretty strong there.

I crunched the numbers..

Oak hill has an average of 39.5 minutes for conference games. In the TVC, it would be 45 minutes. Also, over 3/4 of the travel would be 4 lane. In the soc, that number is probably less than 5%. They are the same size as Wellston and have great facilities. I can’t really think of any reason against them coming to the TVC. We need an 8th member and it’s clear that the TVC is afraid to add warren based on their size. We need to even the Ohio division with another team and there are no other logical options imo.

I need to see your routes. Not buying over 75% 4 lane. I’d say closer to 60%

Just eyeballing google maps. Regardless, 75% or 60%, it’s a much higher number than their current conference. The point is that the travel time would only be slightly higher on average and the drives would be on, overall, better roads.

With out a doubt they fill that void they will both be at at 1000 yards by the end of the season both have there own style and work well together!

With the predictability of the Oak Hill offense I cannot see one thousand yards per. That split between the two backs?

2 1000yd backs in same backfield is rare
Have the oaks ever had 2 1000 yd backs in same year ?

At least one, in 2012. Wes Harden and Devon Davis both rushed for over 1,000 yards on the season. Oak Hill primarily ran out of the I formation and split back when they had them. The quarterback, Haislop, also threw for at least 1,000 as well.

Fisher had a 1000 last year and clutters was almost at 9 if they split the load each game it’s going to happen

I believe Fisher was closer to 1300 yards.

I have to politely disagree that Oak Hill will have two running backs reaching the one thousand yard mark. The strength and experience of last years offensive line will be hard to replace. I don't think it will be duplicated this year. Hopefully adjustments will be made, again Oak Hill has been Very predicable in the past. The same as the style of the backs. If they don't have some type of passing game, how long will it take to shut down the running game?

Well everyone is entitled to their own opinions but being at every game last year I believe if clutters and smith got just as many carries a game as Fisher they could of all been 900+ yard rushers just remember this tread at the end of the year!😊

Don't believe that number of carries per back were that far apart. Fisher had several runs for big gains. There were fumbles with the others! So far we only agree on one thing, Last year!
