Portsmouth Notre Dame has a Running Back by the name Of Tom Bowman who started at Fullback for West Virginia

I believe he went to ND in the late 70s. One of the best athletes from this area.

And I would have BET for sure that by this point in the list someone would have named Art Schlister from Washington Miami Trace.

Drew Basil from Chillicothe High School hit some big kicks for the Ohio State Buckeyes

yes, indeed. how could I forget that lewis was a halfback at marshall. and how could I forget mark Snyder. played at marshall. coached at osu, msu, east Carolina, usf, fsu, and a whole heap of other places as well as being the d-coord. at osu for 2002 national championship and head coach at marshall. he is currently at fsu, after leaving msu. and I was just thinking of the division 1 teams, so many have went to fcs schools as well. like I said, I knew I'd forget some. tim hodges as well at akron.

I was in school the same time Dean was. He went up to Ironton for a very very very short time. He couldn't cut.it.He went back to Green

I don't remember him going to Ironton, he played all 4 years of high school football at Green.
Dean went to West Point then he tranfered to Ohio University.
