Basically scioto went to 20

This region will definitely be tougher. No Oak Hills, Irontons, Bishop Readys making it here. I think the odds favor us more if Madison and CHCA go 2&3. That would be an advantage for Burg.

I hate to hear that nut. that was always a huge game for either in the region. at least we are still playing each other. I hope they always do.

The good news is if we win Region 20 we should (if OHSAA matches up closest schools in Final 4) play the Region 19 winner in the State Semi and therefore theoretically that will provide the easiest path (historically) to the State Championship.

Possibly. But with moving Montgomery county and the MAC schools upto 18, there is a decent chance a southern region 18 school wins that region and could match up with 20.... Coldwater could easily move back into D5 next season if their numbers increase slightly. Also, I would not rule out CHCA. They can bring in some talent and gave Madison a good game last season. Never been impressed with them defensively though.

I like the current regions. I think 17, 18, and 20 each has some quality programs. 19 … not so much but ya never know.
