We'll learn more about both teams this evening. Waverly at home vs Portsmouth @ 7:00. Pretty sure Piketon is on the road vs East.

I think I'll refrain with any prediction on the Waverly/Piketon game. Seems to go off script most often. I do have one prediction....a BIG crowd. This game is always fun. Get your ticket early and avoid standing in a long line. Hard to believe football season is here......YES!!

Never like to predict a score in this one, you never know what’s going to happen even when one is heavily favored.

Waverly looked really good tonight - even without Easton Wolfe.

How did Piketon do this evening?

Let me first say I was at the scrimmage for most of the first half I left with 1:33 to go in the 2nd quarter.
Waverly's offense can definitely put points on the board. I think the O-Line held up nicely and the defense got burned on two big plays in the first half, but I thought played well overall The defense has nice speed and made some nice plays that we seemed to "almost got" last season. Shanks impressed me with his arm, he did have a couple drops but that can be worked on as can some the mistakes on defense. I think Waverly will outscore the Redstreaks 33-14.

Ok, it’s officially rivalry week.
The poll has 16 for Waverly and 3 for Piketon.
On paper and all the talk has Waverly winning this thing but it is AT Piketon and we all k kw anything can happen with this rivalry.
Anything new since the weekend? Any new injuries, etc.?

Guess it's a good thing NONE of that matters come Friday night, Piketon is having internal issues and simply aren't on the same page. Waverly has way more speed and size at the skilled players than Piketon can handle across the board. Still going with running clock in this one, might be early 4th quarter but it happens.

Past 3 seasons would be the only ones that mattered since that would make them seniors this year.

Waverly does play a tougher schedule.

I went back the last 15 seasons because 2003 was Tyler’s first year.

0-3 last 3 seasons is the stat that is on those seniors mind. Everything else up until then is really just fluff.
