Who's Jackson replacing them with after that? I was thinking this was the last year, so another year of it, sheeeesh

I should know but am not sure without researching through old messages. Gallia, Logan and Athens are the top 3 schools they are looking at to replace

It is Logan (Aug 28th 2020), Athens and Jackson start playing next year week 2 or 3

I will ask again why they don't consider playing this as the Jamboree game every year? You would still have a great crowd plus I think that Wellston and Oak Hill possibly may be playing each other as a regular season game pretty soon.

I will ask again why they don't consider playing this as the Jamboree game every year? You would still have a great crowd plus I think that Wellston and Oak Hill possibly may be playing each other as a regular season game pretty soon.

It's been on own for a while that this series is ending.
I figure at some point it may become a jamboree though.

agree with you there Poo Bear! A fine coach/man he was. the kids should feel very honored if they are selected as the Paul Blankenship MVP Award there is no doubt in my mind both teams will play their hearts out! Should be exiting to watch come Saturday night.

So we have a student-athlete that's projected to have a break out game for the Golden Rockets.......whom from Jackson will step and have a stellar performance to earn the other MVP award???????

No way this is a running clock. Wellston will be hyped up through the roof for the last ever Jackson game at CH jones . Wellston has nearly as many players as Jackson. Wellston could very well be stronger and they will have the fastest player on the field. Coach Lucas has done a great job getting the kids stronger and the numbers up. This will be a game for 4 quarters.

I believe they do, or at least they have because of the numbers. Jackson I think dresses freshman for homes games and not away, not 100% sure on that one though.

it may be a running clock in 2nd half. it’s always been a good exciting 1st half every year. But this year will be different. Jackson has more speed this year then they had last year, more play makers to choose from. the defense will be very strong and fast. I don’t see this lasting 4 quarters. I’m sorry,I just don’t. But If Jackson doesn’t come ready to play then it will be a dog fight and 4 quarters.
