Minford looks much improved on both sides of the line and should be able to effectively run the ball this year and have a decent to very good passing game depending on who the starting QB is going to be. There is a big improvement in physicality and size up front.

Rock hill did not impress me during the ovc preview. I don’t think they threw one pass. Defense was ok at times. Offense needs work. I know nothing about minford except what I read. I’d take minford on this one. Reading it seems there a good team.

Rock Hill coach is from Ironton and related to Bob Lutz!! He brought that offense to Redmen territory. It’s to run the clock out and you will not have many possessions. Plus wear you out if ran right. Rock hill is year away I say but they did give the game away last year with that same offense but fumbled the ball going in to score at the 15. I see it being close again this year like last!! This is going to be a close game and whoever wins this game will be who doesn’t turn the ball over and whoever takes advantage of those turnovers!! This will be a 6 points or less win

I see this game being close and being an absolute dog fight. Rock Hill will win. But not by much.

Good point about rock hill. They did beat the tar out of us 2 years and last year. We won those games but they were battles.

Although I think minford is improved! I’m waiting to see what they do against fairland to get a better judgment for this game.

If Rock Hill would have still had the kid from a couple years ago,you would have seen quite a bit of passing. He would be thowing passes for Oak Hill this year but the Basketball coach doesn't want him playing football.

What’s nuts about that is he’s a legit high division football player. I can’t say he’s that in basketball. He’s just big and athletic for around here

I would also say I think that he is one of the best 2 or 3 basketball players in the SOC-2.

That’s not true I know several coaches at Oak Hill and that is not the reason.

This one needs to get back to the Minford Rock Hill games of the Mid to late 2000's if Minford wants to "get back". If this one is close, it will be another long year in Minford.

Hopefully, the Tribe can make a good showing. This can be a good indicator for the season. Everyone is a year more experienced than last, with some freshmen having a good showing in the scrimmages.

I had minford winning this until I saw what fairland did to them. Dragons lost everyone and still beat minford. I wasn’t there so not sure what the score was with the starters.

The Rock Hill kid started to play football his first year at Oak Hill, he old only practiced and few days then quit. Not a high division football prospect.
