Well it's like this Mattash. The kid going to spring valley if its who I think it is, Dad was fired as an assistant Coach at SP so he left with his Dad...I think kids name is Owen..May not be same kid.... On the Ashland kid, SP has a mandatory drug testing policy for all athletics . You fail test you have to go through treatment programs or you don't play.... Some Parents apparently don't buy into the program..There you go...

Think West takes this one by 2-3 scores but this could be one of the more physically played games in the area. SP with decent numbers and have some really good size to them the trenches will be a poppin come Friday night.

Dad was fired because he was trying to find a spot for him on an OVC school while coaching the Pointers in football season. Mandatory drug testing for all athletes hurts us as well. So we are not on the same level playing field as other schools. We are already at a disadvantage before the season even starts. It hurts all our programs but I guess we care more about the kids than wins and losses. I do think Chesapeake is starting to drug test them all but not certain on that. Some schools do the "random"testing but seems to me it was always the good kids that got tested. The known druggies never were tested and the good kids were tested every year! lol Go figure!

West hasn't scored much in their two scrimmages.
7-0 against Jackson and 7-0 against Ironton. Evidently they have played some good defense. West by 3-4 scores.

Not saying South Point is going to win but from a physicality stand point I think they're going to surprise some teams this year from what I saw. New coach, new mentality, beef on the line and in the right skilled positions they have good size. I look for this to be a physical game curious to see how South Point holds up against West

No chance this game. West returns all skilled players. BUT give the line a quarter to get the young jitters out of the way. I WILL not be surprised if its a 7-0 14-0 game first quarter. BUT by the 4th jv will be in. I think West 42-0 maybe 42-7.
