Meadowbrook coach Todd Twiddy is using state championship talk, I will take him by a lot against the depleted muskies.

Muskies not depleted. Several good classes in a row. Will challenge for MVL title yearly for several years to come.

Twiddy starts 2018 with an L.

Ghettobrook won't win a state title like Lombardi, I mean Twiddy expects, however they are still going to be pretty darn good. I think this will be a good, close game. JG certainly not depleted..lost tons of talent but still has many skilled players returning.

This will be a close one. JG has a winning culture in most sports over last 10 years. Meadowbrook needs to get off to a good, early season start. Expectations probably too high. If they lose a couple early, The wheels will completely fall off. Good luck to Both.

This post hits the nail on the head.

Even though Twiddy Lombardi is talking state champions (again), there is a real chance they could start 1-3.

A very good John Glenn team. (L)
A marginal Barnesville team (W)
The best St Clairsville team since their state runner up year (L)
A tough ground and pound well-coached Shadyside team(L)

That scenario plays out and Twiddy has a dumpster fire like he had before.

John Glenn wins this one. Muskies potent and Colts overrated.

I saw on twitter where John Glenn was up 20-0 in the 3rd. Then I see it is in OT at 26-26. Big comeback OT win for Meadowbrook.

Meadowbrook came back, wow. I think they only graduated 4 players from last year's team.
They're gonna be hard to beat. Will pass Barnesville silly, Shadyside doesn't have the athletes to compete with them either.
Now St. Clairsville will be great test. Would actually skip work to see that one.

Not going to say Shadyside will beat Meadowbrook, actually they shouldn't, but don't let last night's loss play into a decision. Imo Shadyside simply read into the media hype a little to much.

Meadowbrook’s QB has a great ball, looking for big things from him this year. Not a state title like Twiddy is calling for, they do not have play off experience.

They actually do have playoff experience, but maybe not a positive memory of it since it was a 55-20 loss.
