This is the last chance for Westfall’s heralded Senior class to put together anything even close to what was predicted for them when they were coming up through the ranks.

Gibson at QB and Spellman running the ball should be dynamic if the Mustangs can block up front. I think that the Mustangs will rally behind interim HC Smith and win in Week 1.

I know he missed baseball last year, but that’s the last I had heard anything with him. That’s too bad if he’s injured again.

Seth Spellman 11 carries, 141 yards, 2 touchdowns

Final was actually 36-6. Madison Plains scored first and then the Mustangs took over.

First opening season win for the Mustangs since 2009 (played Teays Valley in Week 1 for the majority of that time)
