Curious how that game will go Fri at Symmes.
Every non league Hocking game is big for the conference.
They are huge on the lines. But seemed in poor physical condition and could get nothing done on offense. They played with a big chip on there shoulder as the little county school against city school. And honestly they let that get in there way of getting anything productive done.

Thanks!

Heard they had a decent QB last year that was a soph, but may have lost some kids due to redistricting. That's about all I knew.

Score was miss leading. End of the first half it was waverly 27-13. First team didnt play second half. Waverly had 2 big plays for touchdowns, other than those 2 plays didnt move ball well on p-town D.

Waverly also had the ball inside the 2 late in the 2nd quarter but failed to score on 4th down.

Interesting take on it..... 2 plays for 27 points??????
The other two TD were nice drives - one being several running plays by Shoemaker who then capped it off with a nice TD run of around 15 yards.
Waverly contained Parker fairly well, he had a 25 yard scamper for a TD but that was it. Portsmouth's other TD was a 70 yard TD pass due to broken coverage. Waverly DB's miscommunication - no one within 15 yards of the receiver.

Waverly didnt contain Parker. Ran the ball 12 times for avg of 7 yards per carry. Yes half there points did come from 2 big plays. DB fell down on one of them. Yeah broken coverage same player for PHS was open again on same play 2 series later.

Overall Waverly is a very good ball team. Wish them the best of luck the rest of the year.

Does anyone know how the Jamboree game between Wellston and Oak Hill turned out? I saw the halftime score but didn't see the final.
