No prob.
Halftime now, same score. Not sure what the plan is for the second half. I’m sure JV will play at some point just not sure when.

Waverly should be very competitive this year!
Looks like the Trojans will have the same old problems on defense!

OldTiger, once you have had time to collect your thoughts, would it be possible to share your opinions about Waverly's first unit defense and the Tiger's first unit offensive lind?

Waverly offense was without the most dangerous weapon on the field most nights in Easton Wolfe.
Easton was held out with a minor injury - he will be ready to go against Piketon.
Waverly with just too many offensive weapons for the Trojans to handle. Portsmouth was better than Trace and brought more challenges but Waverly handled it well. Shanks was very good again.
Portsmouth’s 2nd TD was a 70 yard pass play on broken coverage. No one was close to the play.
The first Trojan TD was a 25 yd run by Parker.
Waverly D did a decent job on him but you won’t contain him all night. He broke containment and outran everyone to the end zone.

I’d say that’s pretty accurate smurray. Waverly O looked real good and without the elder Wolfe. Run game picked up as the game progressed which then left the field open for the big pass plays. The D looked good and will probably contain most teams. Like smurray said they kept Parker in check, but he still found his a time or two. Defense can definitely improve and I’m sure they will as the season progresses, but they did not look bad tonight.

Shoemaker is definitely a playmaker on the field, i noticed that tonight, flys all over the field on defense and is a good offensive weapon as well. The running back for portsmouth also is a stud

Waverly looks solid to me, good skill position players. QB really impressed me. But Portsmouth is in for a long season. Varsity score was 27-13 so not too bad, only played the first half. Jv played the whole second half. Portsmouth had about 17 kids dressed for the second half lol they were gutted. Not sure about the QB play at Portsmouth, hoping to see an improvement. Parker will get his, but he has to stay in the game. I know this was just a jamboree, Varsity only played first half, you aren’t showing much, don’t want to get anyone hurt but Portsmouth has a lot to work on. Need to be more physical, better conditioned, and more fundamentally sound. I hope I’m wrong but Portsmouth looks like a 2-3 win team to me. Waverly a solid 6-7 win team.
