What is the record between these two schools in the last 10 years? I know in the past they have had some pretty spirited games.

Since the 2008 season , they are 5-5 against one another . And a lot of margins are less than a touchdown.

On the way home from the Valley / Portsmouth game the radio announcer said West lost their entire O-Line from last year. How does this line compare to the group their had last season?

Anyone else think this would be a fun game to have a trophy to play for every year? Always a big crowd , early season, non conference rivalry game. West and Burg started the “Halloween bowl “ trophy idea several years ago and I like the idea.

Players playing both ways made the defense a whole lot better but the offense is still suspect like the last few years

Saying Portsmouth will win easily by 2 or 3 scores is kinda a bit much when they gave up 40 points to a bad valley team. West will come prepared for Parker so Portsmouth better hope they can set the edge cause he isn’t running out of the I Form with success in the middle.

I've seen the Indians twice, nowhere near the same level as West. Their d is very good. They played two good teams in scrimmages in Ironton and Jackson and shut them out, both good running teams. West will take this one.

I would bet that this game will have the largest crowd of all the games in SEO this weekend.I would give West a slight edge because of there defense. PHS does have home field advantage. PHS is feeling pretty good about themselves after beating Valley last week.I wish I could be there, I think it could very well be a barnburner. Hope everyone is injury free.
