Caldwell 36 Eastern 6 2018

Post by shelton »

After watching Eastern play Huntington, Caldwell should win this game by 4+ TD. Eastern might be even worse than last year after watching that one last night. Will be lucky to win 3 games this year.

This is a rare case where I fully support a coaching change in the midst of the season. Absolutely pathetic.

Caldwell has a big defensive line. They are going to have a nice season. Don’t know anything about Eastern. Hard to tell how the short turnaround will effect teams.

Licking County Fan, fair food or are you going to the Plaza? If we don't win this one we won't win one all year. Us 28-7.

This will be my 2nd trip to Caldwell(Fairgrounds) t0 catch a game.
At first I thought this would be a good game but now I can see a blowout, maybe with the running clock.

I did see Caldwell once last year and it was not good, with most plays being runs up the gut for little against Bellaire.

I have watched Reedsville way back in 2000, when they hosted Newark Catholic in a playoff game. I remember nothing about that game.

I thought I saw Eastern play at Newark Catholic a very long time ago, but at this point in my life I am far past remembering the year.

I expect a large crowd,,with the fair going on.

Prediction 42-12 Caldwell

(Does anyone know if Reedsville played at Newark Catholic, back in the 90's)

This is a more than "fair" prediction.

Caldwell has NICE lines on both sides of the ball. I expect their running game to kick it into high gear this week and for Ivey to have a huge game.

I agree. Looking at the schedule I grabbed at the bank, it looks like they're playing similar sized schools for the most part. Eastern, Tusky Catholic, Monroe, River, Conotton and Frontier are all pretty weak from what I gather on here. Looks like the Skins should be 6-1 when they play Fort week 8. The Fort and Shenandoah games are obviously going to be tough and people seem to think Barnesville is ok so at worst my guess is 6-4 and possibly 7-3.

Pulling for Eastern in this one. Caldwell chose not to play Trimble and Eastern probably wishes they didn't have to. So good luck Eastern.

After watching film on both teams, I feel better about the Eagles.Very winnable game for Eagles.Give credit to Huntington QB, Nice athlete.Should be a good game if Eastern plays full speed and to potential.

I don’t know what you think qualifies you sit in judgement of any coach anywhere? Did you even earn a varsity letter? Have you ever even had a jock strap on? Please share with us your immense wealth of football background.
