They Buckeyes will travel to Minford week 3. Coming in at 0-2 and struggling on offense.
The Buckeyes have some work to do. Some one has to step up and lead this team.
My hope is that the Bucks can find a way to come together this week and start to move back to their winning ways.

Big game for the Falcons. If they can get this win they have a very good chance of going into conference play with a 5-0 record, but more importantly, confidence. The team appears to have more enthusiasm and urgency this season and it is showing on the field.

Minford running clock. Gonna be a long season for the buckeyes. No offense at all! Tough to watch and no one seems to want to play. Probably the softest buckeyes team I’ve ever seen at NY.

No defense and I guess NY doesn't have a JV QB. You have to be able to pass the ball to keep the defense honest. Defense you need to get off your blocks, but putting Freshmen in seems to be the knee jerk reaction which failed miserably. Hopefully the coaches haven't lost the locker room. It's week 3 so the season hasn't been lost yet but with kids it can happen quickly.

No one has more belief in our kids than I do.
They have some work to do and they need to decide that they want to play TOGETHER as a TEAM, and they need someone to step up and lead.
I am disappointed that none of our players will step up and lead, and I'm disappointed that our kids won't come together and play for each other.
I believe they can get there. I believe that they have it in them to get it right. I just hope it's sooner rather than later.

Well said O&B. If the above doesn't happen it could be a very long year but for this week against Minford I don't see it being very close.

You know there could probably not be a bigger difference in attitude between the fans of Nelsonville York and the fans of Minford right now.I hope the Nelsonville kids have not given up yet as they still have 80% of the season to go. Some of the fans of NY have given up,not all of the fans. On the other hand the Minford fans and players are sky high. I would give Minford the edge not only because they are at home,but they are playing with a lot of confidence after running all over Oak Hill. I don't think NY can beat Minford regardless,but I hope the NY kids can have a few things start going there way and then they may start playing with a little more confidence. NY is a very proud program and hopefuly they can turn this around.
