HT needs get its offense in gear this week if it expects to earn their first win. Receivers could do a better job looking the ball into their hands. The tools are certainly there, so far they've been successful getting men open.

HT wins, 41-7.

The Rangers showed big improvement this week on both sides of the ball. They attacked Bexley's offense early, and managed to lead 21-0 just 4 seconds into the second quarter. HT receivers did a much better job hanging on to the ball, and that opened up the run game.

HT's Drysten Crallie scored TD's on offense (run), defense (fumble recovery), and special teams (punt return).

Both teams are now 1-2.

Almost forgot - it was good to chat with Bexley's PA announcer Neil Shapiro, who some might remember as a Top 40 DJ on the old WCOL-AM 1230 in Columbus during the early to mid-1970's. He was definitely a voice I knew from my high school years, sometimes went by Neil Martin on the air. I first met him while he was working a Capital University football game, and he confirmed he was the PA voice of the Columbus Clippers for some years. A classy veteran with a classy voice.
