Portsmouth finally faces a descent team and PHS gave it everything they had but with no depth and little team speed it's hard to beat a descent team but hopefully can win out and make the playoffs

Called this one Gallia O line I’m jealous! Everyone pay attention gallia can take control of any game! Center looked over at Jackson’s sideline he wasn’t scared before game! Loved it they are well coached don’t know if coach Fenik came out but someone thought them how to play the game.

The coach that came from Alexander along with Coach Penrod has done a tremendous job with our offensive and defensive lines. And the total team has committed and bought in to the off season program we have and it has made a tremendous difference at every position on field.

Looks like Gallia and Ironton battling it out for OVC, then Coal Grove or Fairland, then Chesapeake, Portsmouth and Rock Hill South Point.Coal Grove could still fight there way to No 2. Portsmouth will have another win vs South Point and maybe, maybe Chesapeake. Ironton could run the table now but Gallia is looking good. This is a team game and the teams are winning vs single players trying to win . Panthers did score a big victory thou.

Congratulations to the Blue Devils on the win.......they were clearly the better team, but I honestly did think that Portsmouth should have been more competitive. I actually thought the Trojans' defense played pretty well, with the exception of defending the pass in the flat, but the offense simply was too one dimensional. Going forward, PHS must be able to mix in some passes with their above average running game to keep defenses off balance. Otherwise, the Trojans become predictable and thus much easier to defend.
