Those are famous words from any fan when their team gets out scored in the second half.
Was tired last night, just notice this. Running clock? NO way Raider. Just didn't see it. Explain why you think that. I expected Athens to be better than what they was. Take out some bad mistakes that Logan made and this game would have went the other way. Athens is not bad but not all that great either.
Fairland beat the dogs and Ironton/Gallipolis beat Fairland
Seen that too, Noreply. :) Athens would also not fair well with Logan's schedule this year. Not saying Athens is no good but not all that great either. If The Chiefs had some better discipline they could have a little better record so far.

I would say Athens is a top 10 SEO team but not a top 5

Maybe Top 20. (Fairland beat'em and already have 3 losses and could have 2 more in the OVC before year end and that's not counting the FAC, SOC and MVL teams in SEO regions that would beat them and I'm just talking below I-70 and Rt. 23 corridors).

They'll get another chance with the playoffs this year but good luck with Eastmoor ,Sheridan, Hartley or DeSales waiting along with maybe sleeper Granville and that's just region 11.

Athens won and fell to 10th

There is not a lot of open spots in region 11. It's going to be tough getting in. Jackson win over Court House last night was big. So was the Granville win over Licking heights.

Hartley, DeSales, and Eastmoor are loaded. The rest are all about the same

Jackson is 4-2 and 6th
Athens is 5-1 and 10th

I honestly think being in the TVC not bode well for Athens if playoffs are the goal . If league titles are the goal then it’s perfect

I posted in the pre-game that DISCIPLINE was a concern for Logan success ... I wasn't at the game, haven't seen the LDN to see what the penalty totals were last night for Logan ... can someone post the penalty yardage for Logan ? ...

South had a bye week and Athens will be back to 8 after the Warren win

6-58. Not that bad but seemed like they came at the worst times. That fumble down by the goal line is what really killed them imo.

LOL.

Athens is a better team than Logan. We knew this before a ball was kicked.

However - Athens benefitted from Logan practically handing them two touchdowns (bad punt snap and a muffed punt). Logan fumbled the ball after driving inside the Athens 5-yard line.

And the Bulldogs still had to play until the last whistle.

Sheridan and Tri-Valley would annihilate this Bulldog team and Teays Valley would physically punish them. Chillicothe would be about 50/50.

Bulldogs will handle Meigs though, so you have that going for you.

Tri Valley would beat anyone in SEO. By far the best team I've seen this year.

I think Sheridan is better and will win on Friday.

Will be a hell of a game.
