IF Minford limits turnovers then I like them winning at home. Cannot give west short fields to work with. Minford has played great defense and special teams play. Not sure what their punter is averaging but he kicks a nice ball. Field position is going to be key for whoever wins.
It seems Ruby has finally got the athletes to work with his system and some young talent! Future looking bright.

Year 3 in Ruby’s system, starting too see that spread skill development that was implemented pay off. I believe the change and commitment to the weight room has also helped.

This should be an absolutely dandy football game. I'll be shocked if either team wins by more than 14 points. Wouldn't be surprised to see this one go down to the wire. We constantly hear how good West is against the run (and for good reason) but wondering how good they are against the pass?

With Minford at home I'll say the Falcons in a close one.

Minford has been able to throw the ball better this year than years past. They are no longer a one deminsional team. West will have to stop both the run and pass game in order to come out on top. I've not hears anything about West's passing game but I have heard their run game is legit. Minford has done well so far stopping run heavy teams.

U will find out after Friday and the next 4 games after that if the system is working. The schedule wasn’t strong until the last 5 games. West, waverly and burg will tell if they go 2-3 or 3-0, then it’s working. Good luck! This is game of the week

Calpreps

West 21
Minford 14

We shall see. A turnover either way could prove very costly for either team. Winning team gets tons of playoff points in this one.

I will take Minford by 7. Minford certainly needs their corners to come up and hit someone in run support this week. Dilly dallying around wont get it done as Hurd and Co wont go down easily from arm tackling.

I watched Minford and they had turnovers in that do they turn it over a lot?

One thing I have not seen anyone on here mention yet is Minfords field. With the rain this week it will be a mud hole.
I'll go with West in this one.

West will bounce back from a tough loss last week against Raceland. I'm sure there's big changes coming this friday with west. With minfords field being as bad as it gets when it rains west tends to pursue in tough conditions like these, also wanting to blow some steam off after last friday.

West - 21
Minford - 3

Believe me when I say that if the grass doesn't grow on the football field, its not Minfords fault. Mayby 8 or 9 years ago I was at a game at Minford, standing in the end zone during the game, and all of a sudden the sprinkler system came on. I can't remember how long it took to get it off, but it seemed like a few minutes.
