I really hope that neither one of these teams have cashed in the season yet, I don't think they have. Mayby a win for one or the other will help junp start the second half of the season?

Speaking to someone that was at the Wellston game said the Spartans looked as bad as they have in years. Defense was terrible and uninspired. The offense was predictable as ever. There was a lot of excitement a few weeks ago. I really hope this team can pull it together.

Go Alex.

I think if the Spartans play like they did the first 3 weeks of the season they can win this game. There's talent there and the coaches are still getting them to buy in. Go Sparty!

After hearing how the Spartans played against Wellston, I would have to give the nod to VC.

Looks like VC is now easily the worst team in the TVC Ohio.

I took in this game, and to say the least was surprised! I had seen Vinton play. Southeastern and thought they would compete for second in the league. I know Alexander played their guts out and deserved this win but I didn’t see any fight in the Vikings last night . Just a bad overall year in the TVC Ohio.

Congrats Spartans. Heard the stats weren’t that good but defense played hard and well. Win is a win. That’s 3 now and homecoming next weekend!

Glad to see the Spartans win. I think the kids are starting to believe in Coach Deans style. He is a good coach and a great guy.
Alex just needs more kids out. The strength of the program depends on your Jr. high kids getting football in their blood.
NEED TO GET MORE KIDS OUT!!!!
hard to compete with only 24 kids now I think it may be down to 22 because of injuries.

GREAT WIN SPARTANS GOOD LUCK THE REST OF THE SEASON.
