I know there was a lot of issues with piketons field to start the year, how's the field looking now?

Hate to see Piketon having such a terrible year. It makes you wonder what is next for this team, especially if they are unable to get a W this season.. It is not completely shocking tho, between injuries, boys moving, and some who just chose not to play. They still have four games to go, so maybe they can try and end on a more positive note and hopefully get ready to work hard in the offseason and try again next year.

They scored 21 points in 2 minutes. Our team gets to a point in every game where it looks like they just give up. I hear a lot of people talk about the kids on the teams heart and not giving effort. I say that is B.S. our kids are fighting. I think the real issue is their conditioning. There’s an old saying that once the legs go the heart and mind soon follow. I just don’t think they’re in good enough shape to compete 4 qtrs. There have been plenty of games where we were out of it in the first half but some of the other teams we should be hanging with always pull away and make it look easy. Just my opinion

Maybe 15% conditioning, the other 85% is lack of athletes/football players.

Definitely a lack of that. Not 85-15 tho. We also need to do a better job developing them in the offseason. strength and conditioning in the off season here is non existent

Weight training would help somewhat. But this year i would argue that it wouldnt. And i said 85/15 beacause even though there may be a couple athletes out there that does not make them a football player.
