Based on this info that I have found, Belpre leads the series 5-4.

Since 2010, this game has been the last regular season game of the year and the team entering week 10 with the best season record has won the game.

In 2000, the game was played in week 2 and both teams entered with a 0-1 record. Belpre won 23-6 and finished the season at 5-5 while Waterford finished 3-7.

They also played from 97-99. I don't have scores, but I'm fairly certain Belpre won all three of those games (Waterford won 4 total games over those three seasons; Belpre was 2-8 in 99 and I think Waterford was one of their wins).

I've heard there are still a few teams, Waterford included, who don't want an assigner and will fight to the death against it. There's only one reason I can think of for this, and it's to make sure you can get certain officials to officiate certain games. But you're correct the Ohio Division made the leap and are better off for it.

You cant possibly say waterford has a rigged referee system. Seeing that waterford has 8 penaltys for almost a hundred yard against southern at home. And they were not good calls lemme tell you. There was a call for a highlow block on a linebacker walked up to the line. The kid who went high pushed another southern defender into the backer at the same time the guard cut. completely legal, and yet a 15 yard penalty.

I can guarantee you without a doubt that Waterford has a rigged referee or two in their pocket. Whenever I call a basketball game I get a bonus if the home team wins. What do you think I am gonna do? Go cats!

I haven’t done many football games be cause I don’t know the rules but I am available for this game if they think they need me. One thing I understand is that for the right price Waterford wins!

Well christ... I sure hope this is a joke. Everybody deserves a well called game, no need for calls going the wrong way. I haven't noticed personally but I guess maybe basketall is different.

Belpre may have only a running game but it has worked for them this year.

The big key is, can Belpre's DBs contain a strong passing attack from Waterford?

Tonight's rainy weather could work in Belpre's favor.

In my opinion, whoever hangs on to the ball and controls the line of scrimmage wins this matchup.

I'm going with Belpre in a close game.
