Burg didn’t cover the spread. That’s a win in my book!

28-7 final.

I don't see how the Burg can go far with all the holding penalties they draw. It will be a short run. I thought the Burg had better coaches to let this go on game after game.

Great win Pirates! Keep that SOC trophy in the Burg.

I love how Chuck Greenslate said after the Burg scored that final TD, that was called back for holding and moved the Burg back 10 yards that West did a great job of holding the Pirates out of the endzone Really Chuck!!! Burg had quite a few big plays called back because of holding and I never heard West have the first one, but hell, everyone knows homering only happens at the Burg. SMDFH!!!!!

as for the shirt, not surprised.

Really??? Did West have any at all?? If they didn't I'd like to have you explain it to me how one HS team out of two on the field can have a boat load of holding calls and the other none??? Impossible to do at any level. I had a fried of mine who was a football official tell me he could call holding on almost every play in HS. That's how bad it is.

You know this shirt has a really asanine statement on it. We raise 'em and you recruit em' So I guess Burg is buying cars for these young men to come or buying there parents big new houses or slipping the kids big money. SMDH!!!!

I must say it's just funny how someone went out of their way to make this, along with believing the whole recruiting thing

West would stop Burg’s run all night . Couldn’t stop the big plays probably ever . Couldn’t get anything going on offense . That’s the summary . Burg held, the penalties were called correctly. This is not a state championship team and the shirt is funny as hell. Cry about it

Not crying about anything. Hell, I hope Burg ends up taking all of the best players from your all's schools. if they are coming to Burg from another school it must be because they are TIRED OF GETTING THEIR ARSE KICKED BY THE BURG EVERY YEAR!!!!!!!
I guess that just gives homage to the old saying, if you can't beat 'em, join 'em so that you can then enjoy winning

So a school who's arguably best player came from Northwest is complaining about kids moving to the Burg?

Stay classy my friends.

252 yards rush8ng by Burg?? I think you meant every time the refs stopped the Burg’s running game all night. I know for sure they took away a 49 yard run from Mathews so I’m guessing Burg would have had well over 300 yards rushing.

That’s really not stopping a running game all night.
