Lucas, Harvest Prep, Trimble, Berne Union, Waterford, Fisher Catholic and Green have locked playoff spots. At least according to Joe Eitel.

The only spot that is not certain is the #8 spot, which is between River and Southern.

It also appears that the #1 seed is not determined. That will either be Lucas or Harvest Prep. The HP game on Saturday against FCA probably won't be much of a game. HP won't get too many points from the win over FCA, but it looks like it would be enough to get the #1 seed.

If Southern wins they're the 8, if they lose River is the 8. If Lucas wins they're the 1, if the lose they're 2 and Prep is 1

Eastern over Southern 27-26. Southern took the lead with under two minutes. Eastern answered back with less than 30 seconds to take a one point lead. Southern had one last chance with a FG try but missed.

So it should be
River @ Lucas
Green @ harvest prep
Fisher catholic @ Trimble
Burne Union @ Waterford
Does that sound right?

I agree. That is the game everyone wants to see. Good luck to the Cubs and Cats. Hoping all players stay healthy on their way to the finals (hopefully).

It's playoffs. Wet sloppy fields, Neutral fields, New opponents, High School kids = ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN
Quite a bit of upsets last year, don't think it can't happen again. These kids better keep their nose down and not look past anyone. Only the good are still playing this time of year.

I'm more with you on this one. I think Trimble or Lucas could fall if they don't come out with laser-like focus on every play. Especially in round two. HP and Waterford or Berne Union are no slouches. It only take a few turnovers and the game can get away from you. I want a Lucas v Trimble final, but you're right, ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN.

My pick is Lucas vs. Trimble for the Region
