Ironton needs to fix their defense. What happened to #44.

Ironton lost defensive/ Offensive leaders SETH FOSSON AND CAMERON DEERE towards end of 2nd QRTR. They then had two 3 & outs & Portsmouth scored to make it 21-14 at HT. Fosson and Deere never returned and ironton strugggled again in second half after controlling entire first half like against Gallia and Ashland!

As I’ve posted almost all year, ironton has not put together a consistent game. Two quarters of brilliance to lead at HT or play with anyone on schedule, then the wheels come off. SE Ohio has a nice mix of GOOD teams. Parker is definitely the best player in SE Ohio! It’s coach Pendleton’s first season, they are young , and have some talent, so I’ll still take 6-4 under new coach and young team with freshman starting, but it’s still frustrating to have the complete engine stop out of nowhere!

Looks like 4 teams from OVC TO QUALIFY FOR PLAYOFFS.
Gallia
FairLand
Ironton
Portsmouth!

Good luck to all, as this conference breeds a competitive environment for the kids to compete in!

Learn, live, grow, growl, restoring the roaring!!!!

I’ll take it!!!

Radio on the way home is saying Portsmouth could jump west into7th. And burg could get west again. Portsmouth not only wins but gets good 2nd level points with lots of teams winning That would be great imo to see Madison try to stop parker
