Worthington Christian, Belpre and Nelsonville York all lost and with Fairbanks beating Mechanicsburg- Grandview Hts will be traveling to Paint Valley in week 11.

Not a great draw for Paint Valley. Grandview has played some tough teams.

Good luck Paint Valley. A lot of people have doubted you all year. Go get that 11th game win.

Agree. Bad draw here for the #1 team. I think this is a close game. Hopefully PV can rep the SVC and Ross County well.

I think Paint Valley can pull this one off. True, Grandview has played some good teams, but they got hammered by all of them. Their only decent win is over a 4-6 Ready by one point.

There might have been a few people that doubted you, I'm not one of them. I have every confidence in the world that you can beat Grandview Hts this next weekend.

I have not seen Paint Valley but have been to all 10 Grandview Hts games this year. Schedule is tough for Grandview Hts- loses to Whitehall, London and Columbus Academy. All 3 games Whitehall, London and Columbus Academy, the Bobcats were in it at halftime, down 14-7 Whitehall, down 14-0 London, leading Academy 14-7. Whitehall has a very good QB , running back and receivers. London has KJ at RB/QB. Columbus Academy had Mr. Multrie.
Grandview Hts has seen fast and quick.
Paint Valley and Grandview Hts have common opponent in Columbus Africentric. Though Africentric is not good-0-10 on season- Paint Valley beat Africentric 46-0 and Grandview Hts 42-0. So I am expecting a good game and hope the Bobcats can come out on top.

Thanks for the info bsee, I know that GH lost to 3 very good teams. The 16-3 score for PV Friday was a little misleading, our offense sputtered most of the night and if not for a few small breaks could have easily lost the game. I know the field was a sloppy mess but still I think our O-line could have blocked better than they did. If the O & D lines for PV don't play more physical against GH it could be a long night.

Not a great draw for the top team. But I'm still taking Paint Valley.

Will this game still be played at Paint Valley? The field was a mess friday and the rain is going to continue this week for the most part

Taking Grandview in the upset. I don't see any of the SVC teams making out of the 1st round. Grandview with a running clock, if the field is a mess it more than likely be closer but still think Grandview will previal.

If the game had to be moved because of the field conditions, Chillicothe would be a great option. With PV speed, it wouldn't hurt them at all onTurf.

If anyone has a brain this game should be moved.
Don’t limit these week11 teams by throwing them in a mud ring. Chilli would be a great option and PV would still travel just as well.

Why did PV scalp their field Friday morning before playing Adena? The field looked like to was mowed as low as possible.

I agree, but I’m pretty sure there is little to no grass left lol

If I was PV, I’d keep it at home, but I also can understand why they would move it to a facility that is in better current shape. It’s also a shorter drive for me if it is at Chillicothe, so I support that.

Fast teams want short grass.

Pv has had issues all season with the grass due to sod worms late in the summer. The field never recovered and the grass never grew back in as thick as it normally does.

Anyone from the area knows that Pv traditionally has far and away the best natural grass field in this area. Unfortunately, that was not the case this season.

I don't know what the plan is for Friday. It is such a tough call, and one I'm glad I don't have to make. If there was no more rain this week I don't think they would even debate moving the game. However, I think we are supposed to get close to 2 inches of rain over the next two days.

If the weather was going to be like it is today rest of week I say no doubt keep it at PV.
But we are supposed to get some silly rain Wednesday and Thursday. Move it! lol
I will be out of town this weekend so good luck PV rep Ross county well!!!!
