Madison will take this one. That defense is stellar and the Trojans will need a perfect game just to stay close.

Madison’s D has only given up 45 points on the year, don’t think they’ve faced a running back like Parker or not. I’m sure they’ll be focusing on him. Good luck Trojans.

Madison has played a very soft schedule...hoping Ptown can sneak up and get the drop on them. That Madison d-line is legit though

Portsmouths season is a success. Making it to week 11 wasn’t expected and we we are. The boys have nothing to lose. Enjoy the ride there play and enjoy the ride home. You kids are part of a team that has not seen week 11 in 11 years. Now to the game. Parker will have to run hard. Our team will have to play perfect. Someone said they played a weak schedule. Maybe so but averaging a 45 point win is impressive. And we don’t know this team. They may put there jv in 2nd half all year when it’s a blowout. They went to the final 4 and took burg to the limit. They brought just about everyone back. 3 or 4 backs over 500 yards. Attempted just 24 passes. They run and have good run defense. That’s our strength the run. We may need to air it out. They out scored everyone 450-45 no matter who you play that’s impressive. And they just beat Waynesville who was ahead of us in the region 63-0 Friday. This team is for real. But they are kids and keep be beat. I’m not expecting much. I’m so happy we are in week 11. But play the hardest you can and keep shocking us Trojans.

Absolutely...and I’m fully aware that more than a few people said that about Burg’s schedule last year. I just mean hopefully the Trojans can surprise them

I have no idea who wins this game, but with a player like Parker
will keep Portsmouth in this game.

This team has not seen the post season for 10 years ,I'm I'm pretty sure they are very much going to enjoy the ride down and back !!

Why be such a smart ass about the iPods and poop why not wish a local team good luck ?

As a kid I wouldn’t care. Well I would but know what I mean if we drive to Cleveland and lost by 190 and had to drive back to Portsmouth. Many schools don’t get that chance. Trojans will be fired up. Competition will be better so we will play better.

Portsmouth is a second half team and Madison's 1st team sits on the bench a lot during this time. This might be what gives the Trojans the win. Madison might not be in shape to compete with Portsmouth in the second half.

Very true. While there blowing everyone out and bringing jv kids in there 1st string may not be conditioned well. I hope anyways lol. I just want a Trojan win. This season has been amazing and full of surprises. Hope we have 1 or 5 left.

No matter what happens Saturday the Trojans season can be deemed a success. After not being in the playoffs since 2007 and to finally make it this year is a great accomplishments. These kids have laid it all out on the line this season and their hard work has paid off. These kids are special and have every reason to hold there heads high win or lose. Good luck to Trojans players and coaching staff, and good luck to all the other area teams in the playoffs.

Madison is very strong against the run. PHS must be able to throw the ball to have a chance just a few screens passes or bubble screens here and there just to jeep their defense honest. Portsmouths coach just contact Burgs coach and try to get some type of idea about Madison I think that would be a good idea.

A player like Parker can keep a game expected to be a blow out close early. I think is the Trojans weather an early storm, they have a chance.
