Re: Region 27 #6 Fisher Catholic @ #3 Trimble
There are going to be muddy fields all over the state of Ohio. It's football. It's played outside.

There's been a few change of locations for games already tho. Glouster memorial was in bad shape at the end of Friday, can't imagine it getting better with more rain coming. Gotta keep options open

Well put. The Tomcats deserve to play at home. Sorry we don't have a pretty boy field, but we're proud of they Sty. There would be some upset fans if they move the game just because of field conditions. The Cats worked their butts off this season to earn a home game.

We all love the Sty, but let's face reality, we're under a flood watch until FridayTomcatFaithful wrote: ↑Tue Oct 30, 2018 4:28 pmWell put. The Tomcats deserve to play at home. Not play at home that's stupid since when can't football be played in the mud wow.

Unless the stadium is under water Saturday, that sumb**ch gonna be played at Glouster Stadium. If they don’t like it buy longer cleats.

Ohsaa will send rep down 2 check conditions and if they deem the conditions no playable yall better have other options. There is a differience between muddy field and no base of sod

If It's moved the no brainer is Nelsonville but OHSAA doesn't always do what makes sense as has been noted over the years.

If it's moved Trimble can ask Athens or NY to play there before the OHSAA picks for themFANOSPORTS wrote: ↑Wed Oct 31, 2018 9:50 am If It's moved the no brainer is Nelsonville but OHSAA doesn't always do what makes sense as has been noted over the years.

My rationale is that it's just a little closer for both schools (not but a few miles), seating is just right as small Catholic schools don't bring big crowds anyway and my big one personally is the concession stand foods are better from my past experiences at both facilities IMO.ShooterMcgavin wrote: ↑Wed Oct 31, 2018 10:03 amWhy not Athens.FANOSPORTS wrote: ↑Wed Oct 31, 2018 9:50 am If It's moved the no brainer is Nelsonville but OHSAA doesn't always do what makes sense as has been noted over the years.

I don't think it should be moved unless absolutely necessary. If Fisher doesn't want to play I'm the Sty, they should have recruited better and won more games.

They've already moved 4 that i know of (Gallipolis, Granville, Shadyside and Lucas home games) and it's raining here in c-bus now so they'll probably move a couple more with more rain coming this week .

Yep, probably to Marietta. Not much difference either way for Berne Union.ShooterMcgavin wrote: ↑Wed Oct 31, 2018 11:51 amTalks of right now moving waterford game also but for now they have tarps on the fieldFANOSPORTS wrote: ↑Wed Oct 31, 2018 11:44 amThey've already moved 4 that i know of (Gallipolis, Granville, Shadyside and Lucas home games) and it's raining here in c-bus now so they'll probably move a couple more with more rain coming this week .
