Couldn't they move it to Denison University? Nice field and plenty of seating.VetteMan wrote: ↑Tue Oct 30, 2018 9:39 amI know this is Newark HS home field. White is home field of both Newark and Newark Catholic. Denison has a home game Saturday against Wooster so I guess that would be another alternative but who knows. Both fields are close, have turf and plenty of seating.Sunoco wrote: ↑Tue Oct 30, 2018 9:52 amCouldn't they move it to Denison University? Well, if you listen to some of the Gallipolis fans on their game thread, according to their logic, it must be a vast Jackson conspiracy if the game is moved to Newark.countywide35 wrote: ↑Tue Oct 30, 2018 3:17 pmok yes I just read where it is moved!! thnx for the quick update.........you are always on top of things Ironman92
Newark must be trying to steal Granville’s parking and concession money the same way Jackson is trying to steal gallipolis’ money. Lol

I have 1 question! Are you ready for some football? Thank goodness we don’t have to play in the “fun sized” stadium. There was no way it would have held Jackson’s gang. What kind of vittles do they got up yonder? I’d like to fetch me sum buffet.

That’s that yankee hospitality we should pack our dinner and park in our trucks! What is a blue ace? I will bet they will have to add a third team color after Jackson plays them....#blackandblueaces

If you're going 70 to 79N to Newark take the Main street exit to the right after you go thru Heath and the Mall area and go right at the top of the knoll. Once you turn right there's a "Y" in the road, go left there and the stadium is on your left and you can turn left by the fence at the stadium and you'll be right behind the visitors bleachers parking in the grass. You can park around on main st. but this is easier to park inside the stadium.(There are plenty of restaurants on 79 in Heath, just before the exit listed above).

Re: Region 11 #7 Jackson @ #2 Granville
I was told by a friend a couple days ago that Granville was trying to move the game to the turf at White Field in Newark. Knowing I frequent the message boards I was sworn to secrecy. So I thought I would just stoke the fire and keep talking bout how muddy their field was The Gallia move bumped up the talk.
Don't be surprised (if we get inches of rain the next few days) if other games on grass/mud get moved.

Jackson 28-21. We have to run the ball effectively, manage the clock and keep them from throwing down the middle of the field.
