Next up...Shadyside vs Fort Frye

I can't remember ever playing Shadyside in football.

And very rarely in anything else

We beat them in the first round last year pretty easily, but they seem like a much improved team this year. I watched a few minutes of their get tonight on their Facebook page. They we're already up 18 when I started watching. Their defense looks pretty good.

This game was not even close to be honest Fort lead 34-8 in 4th. Cadets dominated the Northmor line on both sides of the ball. Isiah Jones could not be stopped 3 1/2 sacks on night plus the huge fake punt. Evan Schob was a monster on offense. The middle of Northmors D just could not handle Forts power run. Then just to show they can hit a couple long TD passes to Fisher and Adkins. This team is so balanced. Becker came in with 2000 yards but didn’t do much on the ground he did have long catch. Cadets didn’t turn it over until late and if they stay that clean they are hard to beat.

Did I notice that Northmor scored first ? Did they keep trying to run the ball with Becker ? I know the weather wasn't a factor as far as the outcome was concerned, but did it rain throughout the game ?

Yea they had a nice first drive went right down the field. Kinda took Fort off guard with the pass on the first drive. Then next drive Fort started sending pressure and it got to the Knights. They did get away from the run but it wasn’t going for much. I think they should of went more wildcat with Becker. Isiah Kones was unblockable with 3 1/2 sacks.
