Both outstanding football teams. Great offense and defense for both teams. As it usually happens between 2 evenly matched teams, the team that plays the cleanest game, as far as who makes the least mistakes, and has the fewest turnovers will walk away with the victory. Hope both teams have an injury free game.

Gotta agree , so equal in abilities , the team playing the cleanest game will probably win. Even one single penalty at an inopportune time could be the difference.

Biggest difference in Shadyside this year is Coggins. Last year they were more one dimensional with Krupa and Banco.

This year, they can throw it just as well if not better than they run it.

I figured QB would be their weakness this year, but kudos to Coggins because he’s so much better than he was last year.

Won’t surprise me if FF wins this either, but playing Meadowbrook, Bellaire and Wheeling Central should prepare them well for this.

This. Both teams have to be fairly decent to have made it this far, but I think Shadyside will be more battle tested because of their schedule. I mean Meadowbrook just hung 50 on Ridgewood.

With these two teams appearing to be so equal .i won’t be surprised if fort wins but in a close win there lack of a kicking game could be the difference

Week 12 vs Paint Valley

The Tigers won 40-6 but that was because the defense caused 3 turnovers. Tigers offense was actually pretty average.

Coggins 6/18 108 Td

Rushing 31-150 4.8 ypc

Banco 13/75 5.8 2 Tds
Visnic 6/31 1 Td

Rec

Wyatt Reiman 1-39
Banco 1-26
Visnic 2-22
Merryman 1-14
Hendershot 1-7 Td

Jr Rb Tyler Fisher has been selfless. Kids a great kid and never complains when he don’t get the ball. During the middle of the season in games Fort was heavily favored he might only get 4-7 touches. I think it’s saved his body and kept him ready for bigger loads in big games. The kid had 23 total Tds on 115 carries and 18 catches. That’s a Td every 5.7 touches.

Evan Schob he knew he had to get his body in better shape and he lost 30 lbs making him so much faster. Kid kept his strength and has had a huge season only 67 yards away from 1000 even missed a game. He’s also been a huge clog at MLB. I was shocked he wasn’t a first team player.

Tate Engle (43-4) as starter will go down as by far the most winningest QB in Fort history. The run game has been so good he doesn’t have to throw as much but in this playoff run he had come play. Fairbanks game might of been the best of his career.

Brady Schilling WR/CB 6-2 He is a match up nightmare. He has a huge ability to make plays in the passing game. His biggest role has been as a shutdown corner.

Dylan Hart Mlb/C- This kid has so much potential. Lead the team in tackles as sophomore. He’s been great at Center as well. This kid could end up a legend in next few years.

Isiah Jones Jr- Leader of the LANDSHARKS. This kid is so quick off the ball at DT and kills QBs. Might be the best pulling guard I’ve seen at Fort Frye.

Brian Adkins So RB/ S - Kid is a gamebreaker at RB but he’s been great at S.

Zane Greenleaf WR/RB/KR- First year football player has got better every game. He’s scored in both playoff games. He’s the fastest kid on team by far. Excited to see what he does next year.

Caden Fryman/ Brenden Huck OLB- Everyone always talks about the MLB but these 2 are studs as well. Both players are fast enough to cover slot WRs and rarely miss tackles. Brenden has did a heck of a job as a blitzer and has stepped in as nice blocker at TE.
