First I've heard of anything. What's his name and where did he go?

Several schools have tough non-conference schedules. Should be an interesting year in the SOC-2. Obviously Burg is the frontrunner, but who is on their heels?

If true (we know about rumors) I will give you 3 guesses where he went and the first two don't count.

Probably rhymes with "Purg".

I’m really glad to see northwest on valleys schedule this is something that both communities have wanted for awhile and nows the time since valley is down
Who in the Valley community is saying "man I really want to play Northwest again"? I have heard no such thing.

But anyway....I have heard that Montavon is out at NW. Is that true?
Northwest has good classes in 7th 8th and 9th. Problem is the daddy’s that have coached those groups think they're football coaches. I have been told by people involved that it is total chaos and halfway through this season they were already trying to run Montavon off. They have some people on the schoolboard from this group that helped approve the finances for the facility upgrades, but they are also in the same group that think they're football coaches because they took some early bloomers and won some peewee and middle school games. They should have to move up, but it's not gonna be pretty
Doesn't Northwest usually fair pretty well in the lower grades? Why doesn't it carry forward?

Unless you are building a program, why would ever schedule a Club team? You mean there was no one in Ohio, KY, or WV for West to schedule other than a Club team?

I understand your point of view, but every team does not have the same circumstances as the schools who make deep playoff runs almost every season. Sometimes it makes since to schedule down or in KIPP's case to schedule up. Secondary playoff points take a back seat in certain situations.

For some programs that may be true. But with West this is a step backward. You might as well only play 9 games since there are ZERO points awarded for beating a club team.

According to last year's stats on Joe Eitel, it appears the OHSAA teams that defeated KIPP received bonus points. Was he wrong?

The original plan was to not be part of OHSAA, but looks like they are not technically a club team, since they are all attending the same school. They didn't meet the 8 game requirement, either.

I stand corrected. I thought they were a club team. I looked on Joe Eitel after reading your post and saw their 6 game schedule. They might as well be a club team. Lol.

West should’ve at least taken anyone for that club game, sure it’d look better to have played a DVI DVII school than a club
