The games in bold for Alexander and Vinton County will be short term. Rv and SG will only last until the Hocking shuffles the schedule again like they do every few years. Looks like the only local team that the TVC can schedule in these slots in the future will be Logan. Every other league, every other team in SEO will be locked up in conference/league play.

It would make perfect sense to fill those open dates with Oak Hill. I have alao heard that Trimble is looking in to the possibility of moving up to the Ohio, but for football only. Not aure how true that is.

That's not gonna happen. The Hocking is a points machine. They aren't going anywhere.

They were asked when the TVC added river valley and they declined. I doubt they would change their mind a few years later. Oak hill would be a great TVC team. I’m 100% in favor of it and I’d imagine the rest of the TVC would be as well. Not much downside to the Oaks joining the TVC Ohio. Lots of positives which have been discussed many times. Come on Oak Hill, join us!!

Amazing the amount of positives when talk of adding Oak Hill to TVC Ohio or when RV was added.

Never any positives when talking about adding Logan or Warren or Jackson or Gallia lol. Hmm I wonder what the positives are?

When all your schools except 1 are D4 and below that tends to happen.

I think you would get positive comments if you put Gallia, Warren, Jackson, Chillicothe, Athens, and Logan in the same conference and call it the TVC-Buckeye

Or you could call it the SEOAL

The TVC has zero interest in that happening , which is their right . Jackson now a very competitive conference and is very content. Hopefully Logan will have one too soon

Almost all leagues have a team that is considerably bigger than everyone else . Chillicothe is a D2 is a league of D3 schools (FAC). I think it’s more about Athens dominating the tvc .

Chillicothe was a D3 until 2 seasons ago. Likely will go back down very soon.

Again, it is not the TVC's responsibility to make sure those schools are in a league together........

They probably should all be in the same league together. The TVC had the opportunity to bring them all in and they declined. Like O&B said, it’s not really the TVC’s responsibility to make it happen. Maybe down the road, Logan will talk to Jackson, Gallia, Athens etc and see if there is any interest. Imo that is the only way Logan finds a home. As for the TVC, it would be super nice to even out the divisions. If things stay the same, late non conference games will be more difficult to find as is already the case with VC playing a school 3 hours away in week 7. Oak hill would be an ideal 8th member for the Ohio Division because they are right in the middle of the TVC enrollment wise, they have great facilities and the longest trip for them would be 1 hour, to NY. Their school district borders River Valley and Wellston.

The TVC Ohio needs to talk Warren into joining without Marietta. I have no clue why Warren is being so stupid. Just join

The TVC ohio needs Oak Hill and Trimble. Dump Athens and not allow Warren to enter. Then Warren and Athens could join the FAC....where they belong.

Only way that would work is if Hillsboro MT, Washington and McClain left the FAC. If they didn’t then it would just be too far of a trip. Warren to Hillsboro/McClain/MT/Washington would probably be pushing well over 2 hours.

Logan
warren
Jackson
Athens
Chillicothe
Marietta/Gallia

Like i said before, the only way Logan fits into anything is if the old Seoal reforms. But good luck getting most of these teams to agree on it.
