If Ruby and his staff are to turn the corner, it’s this season or bust. Overall since the start of his tenure, Ruby has been 15-15 as head coach. However, his conference record in the SOC2 is only 2-10.

What's up with the blue uniforms? Looks like NW or Portsmouth.

I think it’s a medium shade of gray that the sun in the photo is making it appear a little blue but I definitely see gray.

I’m sure the AD is going to fire her husband.

Whether that’s the right decision or not, it’s more about the lack of commitment and toughness out there. Too many athletes walking the halls not playing football because they don’t get to play this position or get this number or mommy and daddy says it’s dangerous blah blah. Suit up and battle! Go earn it! Daddy shouldn’t have to go tell the coaching staff to play you or you will quit. Just because you can’t be the QB doesn’t mean you can’t be a really good WR or defensive back. Heck if you can’t even get on the field it takes zero talent to work hard and be a good teammate.

I believe Minford has a large senior class and the junior class had tons of success when they were younger. A very good QB and good receivers from what I saw from them in junior high.

I don't see the AD firing anyone anytime soon. But I do think a disappointing season or not doing decent in conference play might fire up the powers that be for a change.

Hopefully they put together a good season.

From what I am hearing at least 15 players are not practicing due to injuries. So no full contact for risk of injuring more.
IMHO, they all look like studs until they get smacked in the mouth. Friday's scrimmage will be telling...

15 no there’s like 3 or 4 with one of them just waiting to get cleared from a physical.

Only Bob Ashley. :) All joking aside I don’t know if the majority wants him fired, I just believe in year 4 of the regime we would like to see some progress in Muletown, the Daniels era for the most part spoiled us.

He is. He was there last year too, unofficially.

This team could be a 7 win team. A lot of talented coaches and talent in this years senior class just have to stay healthy. Minford seems to be lacking community support IMO

Gotta have something to get behind. People were behind Daniels. Reality is its easier to get behind something positive than something struggling.

The game a couple of years ago when they blew a monstrous lead vs Logan had people lose a lot of faith.

Ruby is a Minford guy and everyone wanted to see him be successful when he was hired. Nobody wanted him to struggle. Same with Daniels. But the results are the results. I hope they go out and have a great season. Like I said, they have a huge senior class and a lot of very athletic kids on this team. It would be a pleasant surprise to see them go out and have a 7-3 or 8-2 year, especially do well in conference play.

I like Minfords Qb, left handed kid. Threw a good ball, several early drops by wr’s early but came around. Minford looked solid, Oline gave good pass protection and opened some holes. Their d ran around and made plays, several nice athletes. Piketon same thing, saw some good things, several athletes making plays. Defense for the Streaks is solid up front, Henderson, Galloway and Lansing the linebackers come down hill hard.

Minford scores a couple of times, Piketon once I believe. I left a little early, was exhausted from having to work! Lol

4-1 I believe with a defensive touchdown and only giving up a score against the younger guys out there. The first drive for the offensive was rusty but got into the groove of things. The defense looked really good and had some big hits.
