Pulling for Logan in this one. That way if Athens and/or Meigs beats Logan we'll get the second level points and we'll need them.

As long as the Chiefs don't get shoved around like last year, and play tough, that will be the change that I'm referring to that people will notice. A win would be nice in the opener, but playing tough suits me fine. The road ahead could get much better.

IMO the scrimmages Logan had wont help any with the regular season. NY D6, Fairfield Union and Marietta. Will be surprised if it’s within 21 pts

We will see how much of a change here in about 22 hours give or take. Mike Eddy has had an impact on the program already. How much thus far is noticeable. Have some nice players to compete. Like I said above. If they put up a strong fight tomorrow, I look for better things on up the road. Praying for no injuries tomorrow. Chiefs can't afford that right now.

Speaking of injuries. Just heard Logan will be missing a good senior WR tomorrow for the opener. Ankle sprain. Wow. injury bug getting a start already. Not the best news heading to Dresden.

I'm not looking for a huge turnaround this season. I'm wanting good fundamental game play with a solid game plan and hard nose "make them work for it" mentality. Not stupid drive killing penalty's and not the drive to ball 60 yds then try some cornball trick play.......

Coach comments in paper acted like his defense will be pretty good and slow the Scotties down. He said in the Marietta scrimmage they were just playing base sit back defense and it will be fun to mix it up a little against the Scotties offense ;) On the other hand he said the offense must clean up the the mistakes like the high snaps and penkalkies. :(

I did like the much improved defense I saw at the Marietta scrimmage.

In the Times-Recorder preview story Coach Fell mentions they have some injuries at receiver they're fight through. They are also less experienced there so he expects that group to get better as the year goes on.

That's about all I know about on their side.

Too many bad snaps in the shotgun. The OC needs to try something else if it keeps happening. Why take the chance if it happens multiple times in a game. Not going to get rid of it, so why keep doing it?? Needs plenty of practice in that kinda offense. Go old school if anything else, get you QB under center. Gessshhhh! Brings back memories of last year. Crazy.

14-0 Tri Valley up. 10 minutes left in the 2nd Quarter.
