Ironton player injured

Post by Buckeyes8989 »

I seen on the ironton football page that a carpenter boy was injured in practice and has to have surgery tomorrow. Does anybody know what happened?

I read it on there Facebook page. It doesn’t say what happened but I’ll be thinking of that young man.

According to IFB PAGE
. It is Tayden Carpenter. He’s a Freshman QB & is #4.
He will have surgery today at our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital.
GOD bless this young man and family!

This is terrible, hope the surgery goes well for the young man. He's one heck of a player in the Freshman class.

I hate seeing any kid get hurt no matter who, what school etc!! This young man is human and I wish him the best. He put tears and sweat into this season to have it end too soon. Get Well Young Man!

Just curious....Is this the young man that has some type of hearing device that he plays basketball with?

If so, that kid is a bull and seems to be a wonderful young guy. Hope he recovers quickly.

He will be back, he is as tough as nails. A collar bone break might slow him down a little but it isn't going to slow him down for long. Great kid.

I just saw a similar post and commented on it. this is what I said. prayers to this young man on a full and complete recovery.

what happened to the freshman, was it a sloan boy. I have not heard. if needed ironton could get by handing the ball off if somehow our starter went down. but I would not want to play a game that way. prayers to whomever was injured. I pray they make a full and complete recovery. I've not heard anything about it. somebody asked me on facebook about it this morning. but I had no idea what they were talking about. I hope it's not serious. cause I been there.

good it's a collar bone that's bad enough, but thanking Jesus it wasn't an acl.
