So many question marks for this game! Will Shanks play? Which Minford team will show up? Can waverly stop the run for more than a quarter? At this point giving any prediction is reckless!

If waverly QB is back this is waverly game but if he isn’t it’s still waverly game with only shoemaker!! 42-21 that’s if they have both players, 31-21 with only shoemaker.

Waverly. Minford doesn't play well in league play.

Minford will more than likely come out strong and I don’t see a blowout happening either way regardless of who does or doesn’t play. What’s the story on Minford’s team?

If Minford HC knows how to delegate responsibility, he'll let the OC in the booth call the plays. Otherwise, he'll try to be a control freak and get his team humiliated.

Well as predicted wheels are falling off once again for Minford after a 5-0 start. If shanks plays Waverly wins by 3 scores, without shanks Waverly could be in a dog fight but look for them to win it by 10. Either way look for shoemaker to break school rushing record against the falcons.

I’m not so sure about this game without Shanks. What is Waverlys quarterback future looking like. I thought I heard someone say something about Futhey? I’d start preparing for week 11 now instead of counting on shanks coming back! 40 carries by shoemaker will not get you past week 12 or probably even 11. That’s just a band aid.

Who's talking about week 11 or 12?? Waverly needs a win in week 9 against Minford to help secure a home playoff game. Minford needs a win against Waverly or they could very well be watching week 11. There's quite a lot on the line for these 2 teams for different reasons so focusing on week 9 should be the only thing going on.

I’m not saying over look anyone by any means. I’m simply making an argument for giving a major change time to mature for when it really matters instead of hoping you get Shanks back and using quick fixes until then

I'll go with HC control freak mode with bad offensive play calling. Defensively Minford is sound.

Come hell or high water, HC thinks he can run between the tackles all night. Dont see that working this week either.

Why am I hoping shanks comes back??? I'm not a Waverly fan but I'm one who knows the injury and really think the young man shouldn't be playing and Will Futhey should be at QB. That's why I gave 2 scores one with and one without shanks playing. Considering how much you've mentioned shanks and talked about Waverly in your short amount of post I have to think you're closer to the situation. Shanks playing now or sitting till week 11 changes nothing.

I would agree with your theory if it wasn't for Minford performing in the West game like they did. West really isn't a bad team and #13 is a good RB. West plays hard-nosed and won't give up, so if the Falcons folded up the tent after the burg game then West would have won.

I have no idea what happened with Oak Hill. I wasn't there and have only heard from several ppl I know that were. Maybe the same thing that happened before the W'burg game with East Clinton. Playing uninspired. Before last week, I would have said Minford and Waverly matchup well and it will be a shootout. Now, I don't know which Minford team will show up. Minford seems to be playing to their level of competition, so we'll see.
