OHSAA Regions

Post by EasternDspy »

I think Ohio should ditch the regions and put in the 32 best teams and have a committee set up a bracket after week 10. Current setup in D6 is just awful.

With Top 32 it would look like this.

I’ve always said something needs to be done. I’d like to see them do something like KY and WV does. The higher seed have the home game all the way to the state finals

I like the current setup. Cuts down on travel. Would a 32 from the very south want to play a 1 in the north? Assuming 1st round higher seed gets the home game

You could seed them by location after you take top 32. Kinda like NCAA tourney. It could actually help with travel. Have you seen region 21?

I saw this on Yappi and it makes too much sense for Ohsaa to do. I like it

If they didn’t want to they could decline and #33 could get the opportunity

The 8 seed right behind the 2 seed agrees

Top 32. Pick spots on bracket by harbins seeding. 1st round Home game is better seed. Coaches or AD could pick a home game, winnable game, or close travel. No reseeding.
