Northwest 16 - 22 Symmes Valley SOC1 Chip

Post by mattash »

Vikings bring the bone to Northwest next Friday. Vegas has the early line for Northwest -18. Thoughts ?

Hopefully Northwest plays better than they did tonight. I'm sure they will. Northwest wins

Should be a good game, northwest is getting there but not quite. Look for SV to pull out the win in a close one.

I think from the start, that everyone pretty much figured that this one would be the one for all the marbles in the SOC-1. I think that it could and should be a very good close ballgame.

I think this will be a close one. Hope the Mohawks come out ready to play and win what I think would be their first outright SOC football banner. Prediction 26-20 NW

Symmes Valley has a solid D. If they put up 28 points I think they can win.

I haven't really checked, is Symmes Valley pretty much a lock to make the Playoffs ?

Tall task for the Mohawks this week. Northwest hasn’t played well in aid Ohio the past few years. And conversely, the Vikings play well at home.
I’m a believer in Billy’s boys, so I’ll buck the trend. Mohawks 35 Vikings 28

Symmes Valley has to beat Northwest. They have to. If SV loses, they will miss at 8-2. Eastern beating Belpre, Newark Catholic ripping through the Licking County League gauntlet and the Frontier/River matchup in week 10 have all thrown late and unexpected wrenches into the Region 27 picture that Symmes Valley can’t overcome at 8-2.

Then my score prediction changes

NW 42
SV 25

Gates open at 5:30. The parking immediately in front of the new ticket booth is for handicapped only! It would be best to enter at the high school, park there and walk over to the field.

Ground and pound double wing NW vs. the Bone and SV. Big, emotional game for NW, packed house and NW wins IF we stop the running game.

Mohawk nation, be proud and come out to support these kids and coaches tomorrow night. What better way to break in a new stadium? #partyinrarden

Can Northwest knock off Symmes?

With the weather looking like a factor Friday can an upset happen?

Lmao. You act like Northwest is the smaller school and at a disadvantage.

Who in the world is considering it an upset?? Should be a very good game and given the type of offense both teams play with foot to foot splits for the most part I don't think weather should play a factor at all for these 2 teams. Besides they'll be playing on Northwest turf field. Neither team is going to stand up and throwing it 10 times, at most these 2 teams throw it about 5 times a game, if that.
