Well then they should call Jackson, Gallia, Logan, and Athens.
It's time to get the band back together.

The SEOAL minus Logan. Add Meigs, Nelsonville York, and Wellston

For New Philly, what was old is new again. They were members of the old Cardinal Conference whose members for the most part make up the Ohio Cardinal Conference. I do find it odd though the Quakers made the move without Dover.

As to Marrietta and Warren, their only option is the OVAC. I know many SEOPeeps dream of a resurrected SEOAL or a SEOAL division within the TVC, but everybody seems happy where they are. Even Logan probably would not be interested in an alliance with Etta or Warren as the Chieftains future lies towards I-70 rather than I-77.

Agree. That's more than an acceptable league for all sports. Travel might suck, especially at the lower levels, but....

Nobody from the MVL will leave the league anytime soon. ECOL still has Cambridge, Dover, Marietta and Warren...all but Marietta are also in OVAC. Unfortunately, that does appear to be the best option.

Cambridge will make the official announcement at tonight's BOE meeting regarding their move to the Buckeye 8 Athletic League, South Division. Harrison Central will move to the North Division to replace Buckeye Local who has exited the league:

North

Indian Creek, Harrison Central, East Liverpool, Beaver Local, Edison

South

Cambridge, St. Clairsville, Martins Ferry, Union Local, Bellaire

Last founding member of the ECOL, established 1987.
