Fort Frye 2021

Post by EasternDspy »

The 2021 Fort Frye Cadets will be very good next year. They lost a great group of Srs but had a ton of depth last year. Look for Cadets to lean on a huge offensive line. They return teams top 2 rushers in Owen Brown and Maeson Long as well as FB Collin Welsh. They also have 3rd year starting Qb Ian Ellis back who is (21-2) as a starter. They’ll be replacing the entire DB unit and 3 DL. LB core will be the strength of the defense. They bring back 3 sophomores who started this year. Casey Brooker might be teams best player at LT and DL.

I could see Long and Brown going for 1000 yards next season behind that big offensive line.

I think they’ll be just as good next year as they were this year. Owen Brown and Maeson Long will be deadly combo. Ian Ellis is a great Qb as well.

You’re right they’ll only have 7 Srs next year though. Weight room progression is what makes them great.

Isn’t that what also makes Trimble as good as them? I hear they have a guy who has invests everything into The KittyCats getting stronger.

Trimble brings back 9 starters on offense, replacing FB(1 year starter) and RG (1 year starter).
They bring back 10 starters on defense, replacing OLB (3 year starter).

Cadets are dedicated to the weight room. That field house is one of the main reasons the program has grown.

Should be fun looks like both teams return a ton. Cadets have some big boys coming up. Morgan Smith was 6-3 250 freshman. I’m sure Brooker who was 6-2 245 and Bailey 6-3 255 will both get bigger to. Cadets JV and Jr high was also undefeated.

But if they beat Trimble I'm sure someone will say Fort Frye "got lucky."

Losing the secondary is huge. They were so much better this year than in 2019.

Having the offensive backfield back is pretty nice.

Maeson Long will be a great DB. Ethan Duskey also another kid with a ton of potential.

Braxton Brown been hurt the last 2 years but if he stays healthy he has some huge upside. He’s the cousin of Owen Brown.
