Our best player didn’t play this week, not that we needed him. But, we’ll still have to play well. Getting Williams and Bowers back helps our defense big time too. We should win but we’ll have to show up and compete.

Morgan went from zero offensive Tds in foundation game to 54 points last night. This is a must win for Warren if they truly want to be competitive. They did lose this game last year.

I read that article in the times and I know you had mentioned a few weeks ago that Williams had missed a week in camp, was that the real reason for his absence or was it simply the competition level.

It was because he missed the week of camp.

Granted it was a bad loss, no question. I believe half or more of our team had COVID and we simply didn’t play well. I think we’re much better this year. But you’re right, if we lose this game somehow, that isn’t a good sign. However, Williams is playing with a chip on his shoulder which isn’t going to be a great time for Morgan if I had to guess.

Figured as much, if you were going to miss a game, that would be the one. Looking forward to the Morgan game already.

Exactly, it would’ve been 62-0 even if he had played. The game was over before it ever started.

Should be an interesting game. Don’t really know anything about Warren yet, since Belpre was just so awful. Should be a good game but I think the Warriors win if Williams is ready to go.

Do we have a current roster online somewhere? Belpre had no program, roster, etc last night which doesn't surprise me but our roster on the school website is from last year.

After a long hiatus, I am back and ready to roll for this Warren Warrior football season. I figured I wouldn't say nothin about the Belpre game since 62-0 vs the Buzzards speaks for itself but I'll say this, I am pumped for this week's game vs Morgan. The Warriors need to exact revenge on the Raiders and I believe they will with a healthy and motivated Williams coming back. Morgan better pray their D Line shows up and plays well or it will be a long night for them on the defensive side of the ball. Hope to see Warrior Nation out in full force at the home opener and watch our Warriors get to 2-0 and as always, GO BIG BAD BLUE.

River View has very few experienced players and not a whole lot of talent. Had multiple returning players leave for other schools. Glad to see Morgan get a win, but I don't think they will win many this year. Warren should win easily.

I have watched both Warren and Morgan this year. If Warren wins it will not be because of Morgan's defensive front. I believe the game will be higher scoring than last year. Last year the difference was that Morgan was considerably more physical and it looks like the same this year.

Time will tell who the more physical football team is...

I feel like the line will be a work in progress all season. How many first year players do we have on the roster, seemed to me I at least noticed a few in that sophomore class or at least didn't realize they played football.

Morgan didn’t even score an offensive Td vs Fort Frye
