Caldwell had Fort Frye "on the ropes" the entire first half at the fairgrounds on Oct. 7th.
I'll take the Redskins.

Had FF on the ropes in a 44-7 ball game, right. Anyways East has done a great job in the 2nd half of the season however Caldwell's offense is simply too much for East to contain. Running clock to start the 2nd half.

Caldwell was up 7-0 with under 3m to go in first half

That's great, that's why you play 4 quarters tell me they were up 7 with 5M to go in the game and we can talk. Coaches can find the moral victories in those close late game losses to a team you shouldn't beat they don't exactly find it because they were up 7 in the 1st half and they end up with a running clock by the end. I'm sorry it's simply the truth

East will have to control the clock and the tempo against what looks likes a high scoring Caldwell team.

Caldwell will lead by 3 touchdowns in the first half, and a running clock early second half. Caldwell is just better.

For the Tartan fans making the 150+ mile one-way trip, when you take the exit off of I-77 North at Caldwell, you will see the field right across the road at the end of the exit ramp. Bring your binoculars if you want to see the game  :D . They play at the fairgrounds, with the field being the infield of the horse track. Probably about as far away from the field as you have ever watched a game. That said, plenty of seating, and if it rains, you have a roof over your head as you are sitting in the grandstand. Redskins offense rolls in this one and Caldwell moves on to the next round.

Caution playing surface is rough in several places where vehicles parked during fair week.
Players ankles should be well taped. ;)

Congrats Sciotoville on your 1st Rd. win. Good luck in your 2nd Rd. matchup against Caldwell.

Hopefully, they've aerated and rolled the field a few times since the fair!

The fairgrounds is what it is. Caldwell will get some guys back who were out last week. The Norman kid is their best lineman for my $ and I guess his season is over. Caldwell will roll as long as they don’t commit a million penalties like they have the past two weeks.
