Who wins the region? Does any team in the region have a shot at the state?

Realistically, if GA can make regional semis, I'll be happy with that. Regional final and beyond is playing with house money. I gotta say Sheridan or Steubenville wins the region.

No more because glenville is in d4. I don’t see anyone giving them a game. Also I would take the region 16 winner over big red as well

I would be happy if Gallia Academy wins a first round game, maybe a second.

I thought gallia would be undefeated till we played irnton. Hopefully the team got a wake up call and can finish 8-2. Will that be good enough to get a home game.... maybe.... I just don't see us winning 2 games.. but I have been wrong before...lol .

Steubenville, Sheridan are probably the top dawgs. But watch out for Hartley (losses to 6-0 Watterson and 5-1 Bloom-Carroll), St. C (loss to 6-0 Canton South), Ready (loss to perennial power Lima CC), Alder (loss to Bloom-Carroll), and Indian Valley (loss to StC and perennial power Dover).

Possibly Logan Elm depending on how they fare against Bloom-Carroll. Also Licking Valley after playing Watkins and Linsly, and Granville the next 3 weeks.

Kinda hope to see GA and VC meet up this year, but a lot would have to go right.

Ironton went to Div. 5 in 2013. From 2000 to 2012 Div. 4 Reg.15 they made the playoffs each year except 2007, while losing in the regional final 4 times in 2000, 2005,2009, and 2010.

Does seeding somewhat accurately reflect how GA and VC would fare in this region? Or would JA or Ready handle both pretty easily?

Don’t count out VC with 3 shutouts already and a potential for 2 more, mind you all 3 shutouts so far are against sub par competition, but a shutout in highschool football is no easy feat especially when your up big and jv and freshmen are playing!

The 24 year drought is over! 🏈🏆
