I’ll take Fort in a grind it out type game. FF has to clean up some penalties, but caldwell hasn’t really been in a close game all year.

Fort Frye has been playing a bunch of teams that are physically better than them. I think like Barnesville did Fort will find success in the run game.

Cadets are fine. They are learning they are still looking like a double bye lock.

When did they start giving out bye weeks in the playoffs

You obviously weren’t at the game, Caldwell stacked the box and tried to play man coverage, Barnesville qb threw for nearly 300 and 5 tds in the first half. Caldwell was down 14-0 and inside the ten and fumbled, which pretty much extinguished any chance of a competitive game. Caldwell qb went out injured while playing D and didn’t play in the second half

Why would he play down 41?

That wasn’t a “i’m surprised he didn’t play” statement it was a he got hurt and i’m curious how much it will affect him. He did walk across the field as part of the homecoming court so i’m guessing not bad.

I was more impressed with Caldwell than Fort Frye when either team played Belpre. However, the Cadets were down 4 starters vs Belpre.

I'm supporting our fellow Washington County team and picking the Cadets by 2 scores.

Good luck and good health to both teams.

Fort could wind up 4-5 at the end of the season. Still not a bad “down” year for a small school playing the bigger schools they have played.

They’ll beat waterford for sure so 5-4 at worst as far as playoff standings on eitel Caldwell and Logan will be tough games with Logan being the tougher of the two

I’d love to know who’s “over-rating” Caldwell. Most predictions I’ve seen are an 8-2 regular season and maybe a couple wins in the playoffs before they get bounced. Now as for this game, Caldwell will need to limit their mistakes. Fort isn’t quite the Fort they’ve been the last couple years but they’re still a solid team.

Eastern, are Caldwell and Fort gonna continue playing? They’re one of the few teams that didn’t run after the PVC folded and I’d love to see them continue playing each other. I thought Caldwell was joining the MOVL but I’ve heard nothing about that for quite a while.

By score comparison:

Caldwell 41 Waterford 14

Eastern 21 Waterford 20

They may well lose to Fort at Fort but the only team in region 27 they will lose to is River.

Please explain how they have been "overrated"? Caldwell absolutely did not play well against Barnesville, but to say they are overrated is an ignorant statement. Must be because of the water down there....
