I am pretty sure he was at Ashland Blazer as the head coach for a few years as well. Not sure of the record.

He did coach at Ashland. Green is lucky to get such a talented and caring coach. Excited to see how he builds their program.

I think Coach Hall just really loves coaching football. Driving from Burg to Jackson every day from June-November vs. only having to drive to Franklin Furnace? And if he gets the numbers up again at Green, he could easily win 6-8 games/year and win a playoff game or two given the current state of SOC I/D7 football.

Wouldn't be surprised if his grandson joins him as a coordinator and starts building his resume, though. And that could lead to a head coaching job for him down the line, either taking over for Larry at Green, or being in the conversation to replace his dad at Jackson when the time comes.*

Congratulations Coach Hall! I think this is great, he must still have the passion and the health to do this, fantastic! Those kids are fortunate to get coached by a legend!
